Well here we are, 10 years from the very first one of these. Thanks to technology, I at least have the last 5 years worth of them on here to see and hear. To honor the last 10 years of making these, I expanded the disc set back to 3 discs to have a lot of old hit makers shine again with their new stuff.
I haven't done a 3 discs series since Xll in 2010 , and a lot of artists & bands on this list were featured for the first time then (fanfarlo, blitzen trapper, band of skulls, okkervil river, the civil wars, mumford & sons, and edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros). So if you like their songs on this one, I'd suggest going back and listening to great mix.
And since we're looking back for second, I think I have to mention Singles Mixer 16. While far from my favorite album cover (that would be XVll), I think its the best one of these I've made thus far. I recommend everyone giving that one a listen even if you have already. Its a great one.
